What is Risograph?
How it works
The machine is part office-style copier and part screen printing machine. Original artwork can be uploaded digitially or scanned.
The machine then creates a screen (or “master”) by burning in a digitally translated version of the artwork into cellulose material.
The screen is wrapped around a drum with a single ink color inside. Paper is feed onto the drum while ink is pushed through the screen, imprinting onto the paper as it goes through the Risograph.
How it looks
Risograph prints are made on uncoated paper in vibrant selection of colors, resulting in a fun DIY look.
